Gio was a big reason for that. Didn't do so well in games without him. They are a good team but I don't think they will be as good as last season.

I don't think so at all. I think UNC and NC State will improve a bunch during the next few seasons.
On a side issue, I think the Tar holes could have played for a national championship a few years back, but they had too many problems with cheating and infractions from players accepting cash for autographed jerseys. A number of their best players were not allowed to play that season.

Almost beat a stacked lsu team unc was minus like 4 starters 3 of which went in the draft.

in 09 we might not have been scheduled to open the season with them b/c we opened at NC State, but in 10 we were definitely supposed to open with them
