LOL! I took Danny fishing in Easley one year. I was a

youngster making my name. Anyway, I invited him to come go with me and I had my Isuzu Trooper with a 16' jon boat on a trailer on the back. Everybody in my office was looking out the windows as we walked to the truck and hopped in.( And in my mind, I am the man, because I HAD THE MAN coming to fish with me). Well, we jumped in and I hit the ignition switch.....Click,click,click.....DEAD BATTERY!! I was about to croak, but Danny, being the humble, regular guy he was, just said," It's a straight drive ain't it". I said,"Yep". Danny said, " Throw it in 2nd" and he jumped out ran around the back, and pushed me down Pendleton Street right in front of the old Easley High School. I jumped it off, Danny ran up, jumped in the front with me and said," Let's go get some beer and go fishing".....True story. Danny treated me just like any of my other friends would have.
