Ok so I doubt this is the case but lets just think about

this for a second....

Just say that DW has a minor ACL tear and a possibility of still playing. (We all know it can be done because Tajh played with a torn ACL is senior year) Would you risk it if you are the coaching staff just to beat SCar? Couldn't he wear a brace or something that would help him out with injections? I mean he would still have a month or so to relax and stay off it before the bowl game and if possible just don't play him at all in the bowl game.

Question is... if it's minor do you risk it as the coaching staff to not get blanked 6 times in a row and possibly be looking for another job after the season?

No, and this coaching staff will NOT

be looking for jobs after the season. Anyone with half a brain knows a team with this MANY injuries suffers adversity. Let the bandwagoneers hit the bricks.Just go to the next QB in line that's not named Cole.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well they have had many of chances to do that but

Nov 16, 2014, 1:03 PM

they keep letting that kid play. I sure hope if he does get the nod for the Carolina game...That he goes HAM on them and has the game of his life. However at the first sign of adversity... they need to get him out quick. He should have been out after the first interception in my own opinion...

According to more than one Clemson site

Nick is the man next week. If that's the case , he'd have to screw up big time for Cole to get the job back.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I can see where he will be the man next week.

Nov 16, 2014, 1:09 PM

I mean our team would technically all have to be stricken with blindness to lose. I know it is possible....

I just feel that Cole will still get the nod against Scar. As much as I hate it.

But if the injury "isn't" as bad with Watson... why not give it a shot. I mean it worked in Varsity blues..lol

Coot can't stop the run. UT ran all over them with an Oline made up of freshman, as has just about everyone they played, other than aTm, who didn't have to because their secondary was so crappy. Wat ain't gonna help a lot with the run, partial tear or not.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah but we can't run the ball lol. They will

Nov 16, 2014, 1:14 PM

load the box and dare us to beat them throwing it. We will make WHAMMY look like he still deservs his job! lol

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ky. ran the ball on them, as did everyone on their schedule

Nov 16, 2014, 1:17 PM

not named ECU or AtM. Put arty at wildcat and watch our oline not look as pedestrian as they have.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well... I can only hope that we find a way to beat them***

You should finish thinking this out alone.

Try to work with one more important goal factored into your thinking. "Boys' health and welfare are more important than wins and losses.

No way id waste him on the scar game. It would prove nothing to beat a mediocre 5-5 team. Save him for the relevant teams and bowl game. We still have 25 years or so before scar is any significance. And by then spurrier will have a couple nattys at UF and scar will still be competing with Kentucky for 7th or 8th place. So nah
