HOA Board of Directors extended the deadline for more

candidates to submit candidacy. It seems there are 3 open seats, and....2 candidates so far. I could go be on the HOA board, and be the dick, instead of the dicked. But I also hate people. And meetings. And responsibilities. If I knew if this afforded me some measure of immunity from HOA stupidity (and it well might), I'd be more inclined. What do, Junge?

Get in there and be the thorn in the side of the power hungry azzholes from a seat of authority. Don't stick it to the residents. Stick to the HOA from the inside!

See the ####, be the ####
Make motion to disband the HOA and fight them on the spot at the first meeting.
Take remaining money in HOA fund and personally hand out cash at Halloween.

I've missed your previous HOA posts...
Sep 26, 2019, 10:58 AM
|
|
if any, so...
If your HOA is a PITA, then join and change it. If you have any hot neighbors, make a big deal about you making the HOA better and maybe get a hummer out of the deal.
OR
Start writing HOA infractions against hot neighbors and then off to let them slide in exchange for hummers.
Either way it should lead to hummers.

Best thing to do is hold an election for HOA
Sep 26, 2019, 11:33 AM
|
|
THEN, when the election is over, find a random neighbor who did NOT RUN for HOA, and put them in as President.
At least this is what I would do if I ran a HOA. Which I don't. And won't.

I'll never purposefully live somewhere again where I can be given a ticket for how long my garage door is open (yes, someone timed it), or how long my garbage can sits out on the street (while I'm at work).

We took care of what needed to be taken care of and sarcastic to the people that were petty.
One person moved because of it.
We no longer deal with pettiness, nor did I ever receive a single complaint from the HOA.
