Question for Stat gurus - QB's and YAC

It seems when our receivers catch a KB ball that the defense is hitting or guys as they catch or immediately after.

Yet it SEEMS like those same receivers have more running room to work with at catching a TL throw ball.

This would suggest the ball gets to the receivers quicker/ on time from TL

If this is accurate the average YAC should be noticeably different.

Yes because IMO KB is thinking run first and the defense loads the box so therefore the windows are much smaller plus defenses don't have to cover but about 20 yards of the field if that. For the most part KB passes are always sideline routes.

I actually think it's just cause his throwing motion is long and slow and doesn't have consistent pace on it. When he steps into a throw down the middle he has a nice ball. Otherwise, it just doesn't travel fast.

His screens take forever to get there and three back/ receiver is instantly tackled.
