Wonder if that has anything to do with why we haven't offered. Also, is from SC originally? Can't imagine a NJ kid growing up a Clemson fan unless he grew up around here.

from 78-82. My first roommate was from NJ.

I seem to recall NJ had the second largest enrollment at Clemson behind SC during that time.

At one time Frank Howard had a guy recuiting NJ and PA for him. Most of the O-Line came from up north.

Well, yeah, the same was true when I was there--'74-'78. One NJ student explained to me that the out of state tuition was less than half of in-state tuition of the NJ schools. Some HS guidance counselors were aware of the great deal available at the time, apparently.

How does that translate to a NJ kid growing up a fan of Clemson sports, though?

Opening. I'm sre our recruits will get in the ear of dabo & tell him to offer because Kaiwan was friends with our recruits and buddied up the entire time at The Opening.
