You're out of you're mind if you think HJ would have come out and put up 31 against the noles.
If Renfrow hangs on to that 20 yarder and Cain can hold onto a wide-open catch, we are singing a much much different tune about his passing performance today.

KB is the only QB in the country whose WRs drop passes? Even those fake numbers are bad with 2 fumbles. BC scored 35 on these guys.

the flat. Not downfield when we needed big gains. Our running game can't really get going if we can't throw beyond the linebackers.

When we finally forced their safeties to move up in run support, we hit them over the top on a perfect playcalling and sufficient pass.
Cain simply dropped it.
The fumbles on the two reads at the goal line is obviously a problem in and of itself but outside of that I thought he had a very Kelly Bryant-esque performance.
Which, by the way, has us at 9-1.

Those are two plays. What about the high balls? The two fumbles? Keeping the ball and taking the sacks instead of unloading it? His performance today was NOT up to standard nor was it last week. It’s time for him to step up and lead this offense. Right now, no, he is not “the man.”

The guy isn't Deshaun and he isn't perfect but this notion we have a better option just waiting on the sidelines is unfounded and ludicrous.

No one knows whether HJ could do better. But, if KB is to be the man, then it’s time to step up and make it known. Leave no doubt.

If Bryant had thrown the football to the players instead of overthrowing or underthrowing it would be a different game. Also if Bryant hadn’t fumbled 2 on the 4 yard line and one on the 20 the game may have been different
