Plus about half of the 25 oaks are white oaks, which disperse their leaves 1 by 1until the new buds push them out in March.

It's encouraged leaf-raking laziness. Just rake them to the curb then, once a week, the waste management guys send a truck out with a vacuum attachment and they just vacuum up the leaves that are on the curb. No bagging, no running them through the chipper/shredder, nothing, just rake them to the curb.
