Just for Fun Facts - Clemson/NCST

All-time, Clemson leads series 57-28 & 1 tie in 1906.

Last 14 games, CU is 13&1; last 20 games CU is 15&5; last 30 games CU is 22&8. Last NCST win was 2011.

Tigers have 6-game streak going - a win Sat. ties the longest streak (7) in series, held by CU from 2004-2010. NCST has a 6-game streak in the '70s - by far their longest.

Wildest game: I was there. The Valley 1987. Tigers were ranked #7. Pack led at the half - 30 to 0! Still leading 30 to 0 with 1 min. in the 3rd - Tigers scored on next 4 possessions, closing to 30 to 28 with 4 min. left. Got ball back on the Pack 49 with 2 min. left, but went 4 & out. Final: NCST 30 - CU 28. OUCH!

If not THE toughest game for Tigers in 2018 - it's the most important. Wish it were not HOMECOMING!!

I was also in DV for the 30-28 game. #### Sheridan was the NC State coach. Dave Doeren isn't in the same league.

Very true. I know Sheridan pretty well. He was a class coaching act in high school, @ Furman & NCST. A health issue or 2 knocked him out of the profession way too early.

Sheridan was the last great coach that NCSU had. Doeren isn't even close.
