Jury duty notice to someone else

Nov 30, 2020, 9:10 AM

Am I legally obligated to hold on to a jury duty notice addressed to someone else that I received in the mail?

Is it based on address or a randomization of social security? In other words, do I need to call and get my name switched? Not sure how any of that works.

It’s based on driver’s license

I’d write not at this address on the envelope and put it back in the mailbox or drop it in a blue box

Check the guy's social media in a few days for an arrest.

If you were a decent human being you'd return it to the post

They really don't care who shows up as long as someone does.

So...if I were you, I'd go on down there on the day it says to show up and offer to be both jury and executioner. Might as well shore up that civic duty karma while you have this golden opportunity. Really sound enthusiastic about the execution part, because you'll have a lot of competition for that!
