FSU was very glad to be rid of him after this season and the way he handled this. Can't say that I blame them. I can't stand FSU but for the good of the conference and our strength of schedule, I hope they get somebody good. I don't know that we'd be where we are without a strong FSU to aim for year after year.
One thing FSU will have to do, however, is realize that they can no longer just rest on the laurels of "Hey, we're FSU" and realize they need to compete with facilities and such. I think that was part of Jimbo's frustration there. That, and he seems to have gotten quite full of himself.

What's sad is that we did a home-and-home with A&M in '04 and '05, I believe, and their fans were as cool as any I've ever come across.
Very much like Clemson fans, actually. Friendly. Loyal. Stand-up folks who'd invite you to their tailgates and give you a beer, and there wasn't an ounce of the kind of garbage you put up with at Billy Brice or even with Wolfpack fans in Raleigh.
They deserve...well, better than Jimbo.
