before he wins an American Conference title. He is going to turn that program around very quickly.

As long as he has 100% commitment from the AD and boosters! I agree. The talent pool is deep there and I see him getting some of the players UCF has been getting! Maybe even some we want.

I see J. Scott being an asset for "CLEMSON" in his role at South Florida. Because he will no doubt run into some kids bedrooms who want to play in a P5 conference. Who will want a realistic chance at winning it all. They may choose to not really consider USF. At which point and time I would like to think Jeff would say; "if you are thinking P5 and big time football choose Clemson"! He is also a full time extra set of eyes and ears in Florida!

I could see USF as a place for guys who select schools like Clemson and then find themselves far down the depth chart.

Jeff could take select transfers who could shine in his offense and help the Bulls win their league. Win-win

Coaches talk to each other. Sometimes they don’t have room for a player and will tell other coaches......

I wonder why FSU didn't reach out to Jeff (who knows maybe they did). Jeff literally grew up around that program.

He will do well at USF.

If the playoff expands to 8 and gives a spot to group of 5

in the coming years then I think coaches will hang around the group of 5 level more often and not just jump to the first power job they see as easily.

The path to the playoff would actually be just as direct in group of 5 as a power 5 job in that case and it will cause recruits to consider programs like USF, UCF, Memphis, Boise State etc more.
