Coot fan just told me that while he was upset with the loss to UGA, they are "Rapidly" closing the talent gap between them, UGA and CLEMSON. I asked if if he had looked at recruiting much the last 3 or 4 years and where did he think they were recruiting better? He said that while us and Georgia were getting the "name" recruits they were getting the real studs and players that the coaches hand picked! I swear you can't make this crap up!! Bless their little hearts!

I'm not surprised he said this because I'm often hearing the talking heads on ESPN saying similar crap. Desmond Howard even picked them to beat UGA. I'm not sure what these people are smoking, but I'm yet to see this trend toward elite that these people are talking about. The Coots continue to be amazingly mediocre.

Desmond also picked Michigan to win the NC. The more time goes by makes me think he thought it was April 1st when he picked his picks or he really doesn't know anything about football.
