J Williams from Grayson

Why did Clemson back off of him? He looked like the best player on the field last night at the Dome in the Roswell/Grayson game.
I think UGA backed off him as well. Size? Attitude?

Well if Saban is 5"8 then his shorts are about 5 foot even . Hey Nick , the waist is on the hips , not up by your moobs .

After watching him play, if I was a coach recruiting him it would not be as a defensive back.. More of a slot receiver in my opinion.. His size is gonna get abused by Tee Higgins the next few years..
The kid does has crazy speed and field vision tho, and I hate seeing him go to the Coots..

He's taking all of his OVs, so don't be surprised if he doesn't wind up signing with the Coots.

Why should QBs be scared of >6' CBs?
They still have to cover.
Are you starting a rumor about Fields? I think he'll start. He may be our fastest player.

i think he's in the dog house with BV
not sure if he got snaps vs V tech
agree with speed he's one of the faster DB's
struggled with PI's so ryan carter has kinda taken his PT
of course the tall DB's also need to be able to cover, but having that type of height at corner makes windows a lot smaller in order to fit a ball into. both those guys (AJ and mullen) move their hips well with turn / run, they're both stars in the making

Aj Terrell will not start over mark Fields or Adrian Baker.

Baker is a huge liabilty against outside runs and screens.

He can't tackle at all. He might start due to experience, but we have several corners that are more physically gifted.

Not as a freshman for sure. Especially coming off an injury. I think he may redshirt.

We should have taken him. Period. You don't have to be 6 foot to be a good corner. People who say that don't know football

I don't care how good a CB is, if he is 5'7 - which is closer to his real height, he is going to struggle mightily trying to cover a Mike Williams, or a guy Tee Higgins size.

but the point is

that you would never want the 5'7" guy on Mike Williams or Tee Higgins. how would Jamyest do against the Artavis Scott or Amari Rodgers type receivers that a good coach would match him up with?

I think it has something to do with his attitude. Just speculating though.
