I went to the poll at 7:30 am to see if there was a line on the way to work. There was nobody there. I walked right up and was gone by 7:50 am.

The fact that this is an all day exercise for some people shows just how bad off we are as a country.

HS back in 2012, or maybe it was 2008. Line stretched a quarter mile down the road. They cut off the line at 7PM. It took until midnight to get those people there by 7pm through.

That was the reason for the first firing of a Richland County election commissioner.

my mother was voting in a SC primary a few years ago. When she got there mid-day, a lot of Democrats were in line and had voted but not many Republicans. My mom inquired about turnout to the poll worker who replied stating: "Democrats usually show up during the day but the Republicans don't show up until they get off of work"
