Ive not watch Clemson bball in 2 years

And sad to say, my lifes been better for it.... but I don't like it. I want to enjoy Tiger basketball again! I dont ask for much, I grew up on Chris Hobbs and Chuckie Henderson. I remember Ed Scott playing in Anderson. Will Solomon beating #1 UNC. Heck I even have a Chris Wani (I believe that was his name?... you know who im talking about) jersey! Brownell has killed my joy and love of Clemson basketball. His style of play is boring... which makes the losses, of which im use to, even more unbearable. The embarrassing losses, lack of players i can relate to bc of frequent transfers, and style of play i would compare to a golf game has killed my interest. Drad, please allow me to enjoy Tiger basketball again. Fire Brownell.

I mean, nothing in your post even makes sense. It's like you think we lose every game and haven't been any good under Brownell. You sound like you'd rather lose running up and down the floor than win an historic amount of ACC games with a slower tempo. You probably don't even realize that we score a lot more this year and have shot the 3 well. You obviously don't realize that transferring has become an epidemic in college baskeball, and that it hasn't just affected Clemson. Did you know that Clemson is BRINGING IN very high profile transfers?
And bringing up Chris Hobbs, seriously? Dude was not on the level of many of Brownell's players, and the teams he was on were even worse.

Claiming a NCAA T for Larry AT Wyoming, but not counting Brownells at other places. You don't have to tell anyone that you haven't watched Clemson basketball, it is evident from your posts. They have actually looked pretty decent this year...very watchable, much improved from last year. But lets discount any progress and long for the days of the Shyatt invitational.
What a lot of you Brownell haters fail to realize is that in all of your Coach Purnell arguments, is that we didn't fire OP. He bailed in the middle of the night and left US. Of course CBB hasn't had the success of OP, but that doesn't single handedly bring cause for firing the guy and starting over again.
I don't see myself as a Brownell apologist or Brownell fan. I am a fan of Clemson: I may have lower expectations than some of the ones on here (who don't watch any games for multiple years at a time). I want to be competitive in the ACC...which we have been. That is my biggest expectation for Clemson basketball. My second biggest is not having to flip a coin to see if we can beat Kennesaw State or Furman, like when Shyatt paced the line here.
Now if the administration decides to throw more support toward basketball (which has been the real issue for the past 30 years) then maybe I will raise expectations, but I look at what other schools in our conference throw at basketball and I don't see expecting to finish in the top 4 of the ACC in any year.
