Just been hearing a lot lately that the "committee" is really favoring big offensive performance and heard some folks criticizing that it incentivizes some teams to "run up the score."

Frankly, it's stupid to reward big offensive performances when you not only risk getting your starters hurt AND you lose valuable snaps for your backups. It's not about "it's a game, deal with it", it's just pragmatism.
