Misleading clickbait headline of the day

Love how there's this headline, and then the caption says something else entirely. They are not running our of oil. They are still increasing production. Only pipelines are going to become a limitation, and that will be fixed by 2019.

Trump campaigned on cutting regs. Pipelines (and nuclear plants) would be good places to start.

I recall about 15 years ago or so some bureaucrat signed a regulation and SCE&G had to build a SECOND ### at Lake Murray basically doubling the width of the existing ### that had been there for 60+ years. Something about withstanding a 8.0 earthquake or something. With a stroke of a pen they had to spend over $275 million.

All this with the stoke of a pen, and some revised numbers.

What's wrong with that? The area is prone to earthquakes.

Category 1 Hurricane Matthew caused a ### failure in Lumberton, NC and the towns of Fair Bluff, NC and Nichols, SC, were left in ruins downstream.

Do you have any concept of how much more damage the next "big one" will do than a Cat 1 hurricane?

Why would anyone interpret "near its limit" to mean "running out of oil"?

Nearing a limit suggests something is filling up, not emptying.
