Try DUCKDUCK GO... who don't sell or give out your info, And don't allow sites to get to you.

In fact, at the end of your research they show you which companies & sites (by %) tried to harass you.

For me, I'm been off FB for 1 1/2 yrs due to you know what..and now I'm defriending another Big Boy Company who is getting way too invasive with my personal info and too political for one side.

I've been using it for about 3 weeks. It's a little quirky, but not bad at all. I'm not sure what it does, but it's claimed to be a bit more private. You don't have to download it - you can select it in the Google settings.

Firefox and DuckDuck Go is what I use all the time now.

Stay away from the Google Chrome browser, too. It's just as nosy as the Google search engine.

Safari and duck duck go with ghostery. Safari has some advanced no track tech they just released
