It's not like Clemson is south Florida.

I wouldn't call Clemson a "warm weather" area. That term applies to areas who have 70 degree plus temperatures year round. Clemson gets snow almost every winter, occasionally with decent totals.

Having played high school football in Greenville, SC, I remember playing many high school games in 20 degree weather. I've been to many Clemson games colder than the expected temperature tonight at Chestnut Hill.
