of cheering fans...maybe not necessarily looking for an advantage with the noise. With the way they're playing, they need no advantages...

had the game been closer or gone in our favor, Clemson fans would have blown the roof off of that place (so to speak).

of game and a punt deep in their endzone. The game would've been completely different had we not fumbled the first play and had two more turnovers in the first half.

a few times and it was very loud on tv. The students were loud along with the music prior to the snap. Musburger even made a comment about how loud it was after the 3rd down delay of game. Its a shame it was a blowout bc it would have been insanely loud in the 4th qtr.

Wish our defense had started instead of our offence

The crowd was jacked up, and FSU would have had 80 yards to go with all that max crowd noise instead of a stunned crowd and only a short distance. Oh well...

What I meant was that before the game they said the noise

would not be a factor. It is much easier to say something nice after the fact you destroyed them on their home field than if you lose. I appreciate the comment that we were loud but its not like he had to gut out saying it.

being nice. It has nothing to do with win or lose. He is stating a fact that is pretty impressive. It was the loudest place he has ever been for a ballgame. He wants his fans to respond this weekend.

That's what we need to do at the Roach, strike quick and take them right out of the game and them things start to snowball in our favor!!!

Noise doesn't win games, or even help win games, when you're dealing with a focused, prepared opponent. It only helps against the weaker minds (both coaches and players). Obviously, FSU ain't in that category! "Getting the crowd in it" is for announcers to expound upon, like my other favorite announcer talking point, "momentum". Momentum simply means one team is kicking the snot out of the other at the moment. LOL!
