McDowell was, Spurrier would have fed him the ball a lot more than we did. I feel like 2 years in a row we could have stayed with the run a little more than we did. I think we probably didn't expect to be able to run the ball as well as we did, so the game plan was probably built around a different mode of attack.

That sir is a great point and so is this: a top rate OC would adjust on the fly and ours is totally not capable of adjusting. Rod or another back would have seen it 2 out of 3 plays if I were coaching as it was obvious once we wore them down we would win. But no, can't do that.
Have Tajh keep throwing when we're still in it--3 straight in one sequence. What game was he watching? Pathetic

I think he was anticipating on not turning the ball over. Only so much he could do with the ball in 22 minutes TOP

and for some reason we play right into their hands. USC wanted us to be 1-dimensional and go pass happy and we gladly obliged. That played into their hands. Say what you will, but our offense is not patient, at all, and it panics when there is no reason to do so.
