Delgado walked the pitcher when the bases were loaded with 2 outs walking in a run.... then gave up a grand slam to leadoff batter.

Last season says hello. These self inflicted wounds are what destroyed us down the stretch. Walking the pitcher on 4 pitches with the bases loaded is ridiculous. Especially after they intentionally walk the 8 batter. Winning the series is great, but each game counts.

Delgado got shelled. It happens. No one has ever gone undefeated in baseball. Settle down. It's another great year for the Braves. They are doing fine.

We win 10 of 11 and you get mad over one loss even though we get more hits than the dbacks and delgado pitched great besides that one inning...

Actually, last year it was the fact that we couldn't score runs.
Heyward was no where to be seen (look at his stats in the last 12 games and the record of the same number of games).
Our pitching was great in close ball games, Kembrell set the single season rookie saves record.
The problem was injuries in the bullpen and the fact that we used Venters, Kembrell, and the last of the big three has slipped my mind, way too much during the year.

To prove the first point:

Last year: 641 runs in 162 games which is 3.96 runs per game.
This year: 91 runs in 16 games which is 5.69 runs per game.
That's almost 2 more runs per game and I guarantee you that if we were putting up 5.69 runs per game last season we would have won 15-20 more games.
Now that average will decline as the season goes on, but right now 91 runs is 2nd in the league behind 94 for the Rangers.
The crazy thing is, we have 3 less total runs than the Rangers on 30 less total at bats, and 8 less total home runs.
