Salty af rant about work

Work sucks. I used to like my job and thought I could retire from this company. Seems times have changed. We have a new regime that run this place like Mickey Mouse Club and Im Wile E Coyote. Since April we've had 100 people let go or leave. No one knows what anyone does anymore.
They made up this bs 2nd shift in my dept. Instead of one employee permanently moving to that position with a $1200/yr increase in pay b/c no one would volunteer, we got voluntold; each one of us would cover the shift for 1 month with a $50/day incentive. Nov it TOTE1s month and I thought that'd be nice little bonus right before xmas time. Got my paycheck stub today and they paid me the $50/day for 2 days over the last 2 weeks.
Of all the flavor there are, I choose salty.

and they gave you 2 days pay? Greenr would be a little upset as well, that's $400 they owe you.
Also, $1200 incentive to switch to 2nd shift. PER YEAR? Eff that noise. What a terrible incentive. Hey, here is $100 per month for you to completely #### up your life, sleep schedule, social calendar, etc.

for the previous two weeks. This payday falls on a holiday so they bumped the payday up to Wednesday. I can see my stub the day before which is today (math checks out)

and you're paid in arrears, isn't that correct for the 1st and the second which would have been the last 2 days of that pay period?
You should be getting those $50/day checks the rest of the month and then maybe 1 or 2 in December.

Otherwise we projected hours and kinda chased our tail. If somebody started mid pay period, they got it call cleared up on their first check.
