To hear what Archibald Rutledge would have to say about the events taking place in the south today. I really enjoyed reading his tales from the South Carolina low country many,many years ago. He lived in a plantation home during slave times and his tales show a different south than what is sometimes portrayed by others. Any of you ever read his books? Poet Laureate in SC

Don’t confuse some with facts. Rutledge was alive when I lived in McClellanville in 1963.
