Johnson picks on "little brother" Smith over stolen interception

Jadar Johnson saw Ohio St. quarterback J.T. Barrett’s pass arc high in the air during the fourth quarter of Clemson’s 31-0 win over the Buckeyes last weekend, and he waited patiently for the ball to float into his hands for an easy interception. Full Story »

I noticed it when it happened and Jadar actually is his lead blocker at the end so I say yes. lol To be honest if I recall, I was screaming just let it drop or knock it down bc it was 4th down and we would have gotten it at the 40 yard line but it was a nice run back for sure.

Hey! There's no "I" in "interception." Oh, wait. Never mind.

I know Johnson is mostly teasing, but let's put the personal glory aside and get this championship for the team, the university, and the fans. Go Tigers!

Great article...loved reading this.

You hear Dabo and even ESPN talking about how the team has that "family" feel to it. Jadar's comments absolutely back that up and it's great to see this. Enjoyed reading about the ribbing that goes back-and-forth on the team as well. Great to see players that love playing together!

It was 4th down. Why catch it? Bat it DOWN!

I thought the same thing.

Then changed my mind when he crossed the 20 with wide open field ahead.

Then was really glad he didn't knock it down when he finally was tackled 84 yards later.

We've intercepted three 4th down passes this year. None

ended up hurting us, but still not a generally accepted thing to do by most coaches.
