lab puppies

went and looked at some lab pups Monday. Mrs No is leaning towards a black female, because Bailey, our black female who died about a year ago was The Best Dog Ever. But Jack, our yellow male who died suddenly recently, was a goodun too, so I don't care.
It was fun to go see them, but they're too small to tell much difference between them yet. The one with the pink collar is the only black female in this litter. Owners were very nice and saw both parents- a black female American lab and a yellow male American/English lab mix. That male has the big, boxy head and thick body with shorter legs that make for a good looking lab.
We'll see how thing go.

parent to the neighbors 3 labs. I guess because I buy them dog bones etc.
Those mutts made me fall down the back steps last evening though. Bad dogs!!

house is a HUGE pain in the ass. They also suggest not spaying until 18ish months old now so you go through 2-3 cycles with the females which is not fun.

She was very active, but obedient.
Ive has both. Not sure what I’d go with again. Bladder infections suck with the females. Also, females eat ####. I hate that!

We will see, potty training with her is already significantly harder than it was with Cole. Energy levels of Shuri at least 10 times what Cole ever was. Fingers crossed!

about 8 or 9. She's 13 now and still kinda wild.
Younger golden (3 1/2 years old) goes crazy when people come over--thats our fault for not socializing him enough when he was a puppy.

Absolutely the best temperament I have ever had in a dog. Not "yappers" either. Our female at about 15 lbs and the male is close to 20 lbs.
Unless you just have to have a Lab - which I understand.
