I played football in cold weather

and let me tell you, once you strap the pads on and the refs spot the ball, the cold is very last thing on your mind. you just can't go to the sideline and sit down, because the sweat will get you cold very fast. gotta stay moving. now baseball on the other hand, is definitely affected by the cold. I hated playing baseball in the cold

Baseball sucks in the cold. Especially those long innings.

Same, this is what I don’t get.

Would rather play in 30 degrees than 95+ Southern heat at noon any day.

Agreed but I will say cold hands getting smashed between face masks isn’t for the faint of heart. My gosh that hurts.
