It is odd, considering that has to be state property.

The gardens are part of the campus and Clemson is a state school so it would seem there would be some blanket coverage for state facilities.

Perhaps either the nature (no pun intended) of the damage ("act of God") or the fact that their was more damage to "natural" property (soil, plants, etc.) than man-made structures is leading to this.

Regardless, I too love the area so I will contribute.
