We clearly had the better players/team. Game shoulda been out of hand by end of 3rd. Proof that coaching cost us:

1) Stoudt leaves td on field with short arm pass to Leggett. Watson hit that same throw a bit later. 7 points for the coaches.

2) 1st and goal at half yard line. Not under center. Get cute. No replay of apparent td run. Snap over head 2 plays later. 7 points for coaches.

3) Get cute inside 5. Miss fg.

That's 3 trips. Inside the 10 that we got 0 points on. At least shoulda been 13 points, possible 21 left out there. All from simply getting cute and not knowing how to finish a drive. Management decisions played big part of it. And that's not counting the fake fly sweep to Humphries on 4th and 1.

What exactly we paying Morris for?

I completely agree with you on this. Players are always going to make mistakes but that is part of coaching. Even with all the mistakes made the coaches were still in a position to win the game but did not take advantage.
