this is a information/discussion board for sports.....College Sports. 80% of the articles I read have glaring grammatical errors. Misspelled, transposed or just totally the wrong word. Seems someone writing for a University level blog would be more careful. Are proof readers no longer used? JMO.

...inexcusable for the "writers" to do it! If they don't have a decent editor, they should at least do a careful proof-read of their story prior to "publishing" it.
