Clemson legacy drawing big offers, but Wynn not ready to name his top schools

Stephon Wynn is racking up the offers, and Georgia was the latest to offer the elite 2018 defensive end out of Anderson (SC) T.L. Hanna when the Bulldogs offered Sunday. What does he say about his growing offer list? Where does Clemson stand? Full Story »

I hope that chad understands what you and the rest of Tiger Nation mean when we say "Sorry chad". We mean that we are sorry that we ever allowed him to wear the Paw in the real Death Valley. His behavior and his character don't represent any FB player that has ever been proud of playing in Clemson's Death Valley. The first college FB stadium to be named Death Valley!!!

In an attempt to save words, avoid misunderstanding, and get to the point, why don't we just say "suk it chad".

So I bet there isn't another Coaching Staff in the country that tells it's potential recruits to go ahead and visit other schools and get to know the coaching staff. Dabo knows what he has at Clemson and if the kid finds another school then they may have not been a great fit for his program. He has that confidence that he, his staff and Clemson can go up against any school in the country and come out on top as long as the other schools don't cheat to get the players. Go Tigers.

I bet Clemson does not tell their 2017 commits to do that! :) Wynn is a 2018 prospect, he has plenty of time, and the Clemson know this young man, he has likely been to a football camp at Clemson every summer since he started playing football. He is already part of the family, they want him to choose what is best for him.

Listen to almost every recruit the last 5 years that ended up committing to Clemson. Most have said that they wanted to commit earlier but Dabo told them to look around and make sure that Clemson was the place that they wanted to be. This isn't something new to Dabo. He confident in his ability to get the players he needs that if he loses someone then it wasn't ment to be. Go Tigers

If a 2017 is not ready to commit, I don't think Dabo has a problem with his looking around as long as he realizes his spot is not guaranteed with the tigers. Once he commits, that is a different situation. Clemson, unlike many other schools, views commitment as a two way deal.

He wanted to take visits but was already committed. Dabo told him to decommit and if he decided he still wanted to come to Clemson his spot would be there.

Now if he had been a 3 star Dabo probably wouldn't have kept his spot open, but that's still a very different (and in my opinion better) way to handle recruiting than what you see from most coaches.

we genuinely want what is best for you, we want bright young men of character and talent (see if this is you) type angle. Because we will be 100% percent committed to you no matter what as long, as you are to us. We are elite on in all regards.

Clemson will be just fine with or without any one player, and don't want to waist their (players) time, Clemson's time, or not be able to offer a player, who does gets it, his rightful spot due to someone whom does respect what we do here.
