As I read your "Story", I was there with you on Bowman Field and at the top of the Hill. It was over 50 years ago, but I was there!

Yeah David I turned 65 this week. My wife will be retiring this coming Friday. Cutting the grass yesterday brought similar thoughts to the ones you had. My son escaped NYC 3 weeks ago. He stayed two weeks in a Tn cabin with a friend whose parents owned the place. They self quarantined to insure no bugs came home with them. Riding around on the mower, Azaleas and Dogwoods blooming in all their glory, our little family unit safe at home... the reverie of how good we really have it during this tough time hits deep and brings out gratitude for fortune still smiling our way. We can hear the neighborhood kids at play too and call the elderly folk around to check on them... including my parents who survive into their 80s. Not the most important thing... but look forward to the days when "the Tiger's roar may echo o'er the mountains height." Go Tigers!!! Class of 1981

David--- Not only did you drive the nail home, there was not the slightest evidence of a mishap on the wood.

My dad and me used to always play catch. he died suddenly when I was a teen. There is no movie that can reduce me to a blubbering mess quicker than that one but it is a great story.

Beautiful David, nothing more touching than the world through the eyes of a child with such wonder, amazement, pure love and childlike faith. We should never grow up because the wonder is still there.
Let’s go Tigers soon 82,000 fans will be cheering with childlike faith for another win to make it 30-1 in the last 31.
We are so blessed to have our Tiger King who’ll have something ready for the coots Offensive coordinator....lol 7 it’s a great number!

Was not Mr. Hood taking his son for a ride on Sunday in violation of the Governor's Stay at Home Order? My wife and I wanted to go for a ride but did not because we felt that a ride is not in compliance.
