Here's to Bernie Sanders the Democratic Socialist... Cheers

I wonder what would happen to those highly coveted democratic socialist nations if the world's only true capitalist nation stopped giving them foreign aid? The better question would be who will help us when we run out of money? Who will be the capitalist nation to give us foreign aid once we become socialist?
Progressive Democratic Socialism, is like a cancer in the sense that it progressively gets worse. The people slowly begin to forget about rights, hard work, and self preservation as the generations pass by. There will be no more incentive to become successful because 90% of your success will end up in the hands of the government. The inflation will be so rampant, that your 10% that remains will count for nothing more than toilet paper. Even worse, the people will forget what possessing a true trade skill is worth.
The government will provide the people's every need. Their land, house, food, water, fuel, clothing, healthcare, transportation, and communication will all be provided and "CONTROLLED" by the government. This is almost the same concept as Feudalism. We will be under an iron rule of government, and when the government controls your food then they can ignore your rights. Your rights will be as meaningless as the deflated money that you make.
Caption this: If the U.S. stopped foreign aid in it's entirety we could then pay off our entire national debt in 5 years. If we enacted Fair Trade rather than Free Trade then the economy would not reflect a trade deficit, and job growth would be where it's supposed to be. I'm not referring to "Temp to Hire" jobs that really have no intention on actually employing anyone full time. I'm talking about jobs that are full time that pay a fair compensation and provide the employee with full health care coverage. Of course that would only work in the event that the tax code coincided with the trade agreements to allow Corporations and Small Business the profit margins for expansion. In other words, the tax code would have to reflect a flat tax in conjunction with the Fair Trade Agreements. That is the only system that will work. We would have a budget surplus every fiscal year. Well, sort of. I mean we would have to greatly reduce spending on nonessential programs like Planned Parenthood, and other subsidized programs that do not improve the advancement of our nation as an existential whole.
SAY NO TO SOCIALISM... SAY NO TO BERNIE SANDERS!... Oh, and Hillary Clinton too... She's a dang moron.

Again, you're missing the point. Which capitalist nation is going to give us economic aid like the U.S. does for the socialist nations once we become a socialist nation. Did we discover life on another planet yet? Did we find some planet in a far away galaxy that will ship us money and food like we do Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

Gee, I wonder who installed all the brutal dictators in that region and for what purpose? Iran used to be a peaceful progressive democracy in the 1950's.

Why do people act like the Middle East has been any more violent than anywhere else until very recently.
Africa and the Middle East were both colonized, dramatically reshaped, exploited and left alone. And since then the West has been screwing around with the situation.
There are no good guys and bad guys... just guys in different places at different times who all want wealth and power.

Economic power enables military power.
The 2nd requirement is the investment of a sufficient part of that economic power into military power.
The 3rd requirement is the will to use them.
We had all three in abundance in WWII.
We have them now, with the exception of Obama's will to see it through.
Socialism will not produce the same levels of growth as capitalism.
The degree of government control over the nation's economic capital will, in part, determine the level of economic growth.
More control results in less growth.
Those socialist countries who have total control over their economies are weak.
Russia, prior to Reagan, and Cuba and Vietnam today are examples.
If the United States begins to depend on "the community of nations", instead of ourselves, we are doomed.
If we begin to enlarge social spending, at the expense of a strong military, the result will be the same.
The United States has no God-given right to survive and prosper.
It is up to us.

Well it's a good thing nobody is advocating that we replace capitalism with socialism then.

But democratic socialism is not what you say. It is not socialism as you are describing it. Bernie has said time and again that he is against the abolition of private ownership of the means of production and classlessness.
I'm not suggesting that you must vote for him or agree with his policies but you should definitely read up on what he is actually saying because otherwise you are spreading false information.
Bernie does not want to replace capitalism with socialism, people need to understand that social programs are not a bad thing, in fact you and I enjoy them every day.
