Seems like the coaches started with this:
K. BRYANT
T. ISRAEL
Z. COOPER
H. JOHNSON
But are now thinking this right now:
K. BRYANT
T. ISRAEL
H. JOHNSON
Z. COOPER
Am I wrong?

Dabo said yesterday in his interview that the staff would sit down today and essentially reset the depth chart. Said starting tomorrow that reps would be altered based on practice performance so far

Hunter Johnson is a stud. If you listen to Dabo talk about him after Wednesday's scrimmage, I think that the coach is already sneaking some clues in there. I would not be surprised to see him get significant play this year. Maybe even a start near the end of the season.

Based off of performance it should be Tucker Israel but I would say KB and than Johnson and Cooper are tied maybe with Cooper being 2A. Johnson was good but one would assume Cooper knows the system more and is more comfortable.

Study articles a little more carefully. But there's not much info. being let out, which is understandable, b/c of all the scuttlebut that travels around, most of it useless drivel. Since the Natty, tight seals around every thing b/c of too much publicity and hype on these young men, who need to focus on the matters at hand.

I think the coaches might other motives in being quiet on the quarterback situation. Hunter Johnson is a 5 star player. Zerrick Cooper was a highly recruited player. Bryant drew offers from major schools. Israel had good offers. All of them could be starters for a lot of major schools. Trying to keep all four happy cannot be easy.

In the last practice Z.Cooper was taking snaps with the 2s. I think it's Bryant, Cooper, Johnson, Isreal. Let's be real. Isreal will never play a meaningful down here. His value will be helping to relay play calls from the sideline.

Not going say you'e wrong, everyone has their opinion.
But!!!!
Based on my own, respectfully...
I can't right now see Israel ever being a factor- doesn't have the size or
arm strengh. And I am not convienced he can, with regularity- make consistant
down field throws- REGARDLESS of what you saw in the spring game.
Next, while he may not START game 1...Hunter Johnson will be a factor in 017.
Being brought along by either Cooper or Kelly Bryant.
I truely believe by Sept, the coaches must get this race down to 2.
At first, I thought it might be....Cooper and Johnson.
But, it very well could come down to..
Bryant and Johnson, if Bryant improves alot in the fall.
As of now...
I see a Johnson and Lawrence battle for 2018.

Nor will Israel be QB2 at any point during the year. Right now I'd say our QB depth looks something like...
1. Bryant
2. Cooper
3. Johnson
4. Israel
At 2-3 games into the season, id expect it to look more like this...
1a. Johnson (Interchangable w/ Cooper)
1b. Cooper (Interchangable w/ Johnson)
2. Bryant
3. Israel
