Isn’t it funny how narratives change so fast?

Not that long ago players used to actually get slammed for leaving early. People used to have to defend him for wanting to go pro after 3 years.

Now the complete opposite is true. People are having to defend Etienne for coming back

I think it's now all about the money. Follow the money. The college FB culture in the P5 has changed. It is now a big time cash cow w/thousands of adults making million dollar salaries(coaches, ADs, sportscasters, sports pundits, tv exec's. The list is long) while the athletes are not getting in on the cash cow. So, the only way for the student athlete to cash is to turn pro. And when college players start getting paid, it will only get worse because the NFL is going to pay better than the colleges.

Leaving early equals extra turnover. You know when you turn on the TV every day and all you ever see at every level, is Coaches talking about how what they really need is more guys to leave. It’s what everybody is looking for, start from zero every year.

In other words, some narratives are dumber than others. This is one of the dumbest.

They tried their best to make us all into whiners all year, then when we manned up and took out L in stride, they try to create false narratives about how we "should" feel.

We have no more media. They are as much of a joke as slip and fall lawyers. What sh!tty profession journalism has become all the way around.
