Seriously, I doubt any coach they hire could challenge us for at least the first 3 years considering it usually takes that long to establish yourself.

The only ones that could even POSSIBLY make us nervous are coaches that are unattainable for them. Someone like Urban Meyer, which even if he WANTS to coach again would never consider the dumpster fire in Columbia.

Let's go back in time to their last coaching search. Thanks to Spurrier leaving mid season, the Coots were one of the first teams on the coaching carousel that year but it didn't help them one bit. They ended up settling for Muschamp, the Gamecocks 5th choice.
