Kinda remind you of Korrin Wiggins before Wiggins tore his ACL? Korrin was an animal, could cover well, was great defending the run, and a really hard hitter. If you watch Isaiah he has the a lot of the same characteristics, especially when defending the run. Regardless, I think you could argue Simmons is probably our most valuable defensive player on the team

Korrin Wiggins was a safety playing nickel and Isaiah Simmons is a linebacker playing nickel.

Wiggins was 6 feet 200 pounds.

Simmons is 6 feet 3 inches 230 pounds.

He’s really improved as the season has progressed. Scary thing is that he’s still learning the position.

it has been awesome to see Simmons’ steady improvement!
