I thought I saw 3 receivers to 1 defensive player on the side of the end zone Stoudt was rolling to. Every one keeps saying throw it away, but it looked to me like he could have tossed it up back there. They appeared to be in a line. If you turn the ball over there, it would have been a better call than running short and letting the clock run out.
On a side note, can we really not punch it in there? It is the FSU game all over again where we just can't run it up the middle. Go with a power I and give it to Howard behind Humphreys. Heck, just go with a Y from a half Pistol if you want a running start.
On all honesty, is it just that Stoudt is scared? He seems to be playing like that. A pep talk could do him a world of good actually. That's just my 2 cents.
