Also, they always refer to it on sports talk shows. Anyway, after just finishing it I realized it was pretty mediocre.

so I doubt watching it now as an adult in 2018 would be able to see it any other way, but as a kid I wore the tape out and it had a pretty big impact on my love of basketball.
I could watch it now and probably enjoy it for the nostalgia, but I don't think I could ever recommend anyone see it for the first time as an adult (unless you are a big Maravich fan and/or grew up in Clemson).
