Is Tim Bourett retired?

I thought they made some huge deal about him retiring but I see him all the time still working and is on tv

he is retired from the University

but is still employed by the Clemson Sports Network (or whatever its called now), the broadcast entity separate from the University. So he's not a state employee anymore, if that make sense.

He did retire July 1, 2018, but continues to do some broadcast work and special projects for the athletic department. I head him say recently that he was writing the official bios for the new football recruits. He was also hired by NBC Sports to assist with golf coverage. You won't see him on camera though. He is always off camera, feeding pertinent info to the talking heads.
