I remember the 1980 CU/SC game...The Anderson Independent ran a spoof piece where Clemson was up 6 points with time running out and Carolina was at the goal line and the winner went to the "Independence Bowl" in Shrevesport...and Carolina dropped to a knee and chanted.." He$$ no, we won't go"..
