Is LSU similar to us in that their level of play last few games is up a few notches

People pointing to the yardage given up to Ole Miss - haven’t honestly sat down to watch an LSU game since Alabama, but are they in a different gear now much like we are? Think of anyone pointing to our UNC game for analysis of the natty - it’s almost irrelevant as we’re clearly a different team now. I guess the biggest diff would be defensive improvement from their standpoint?

Half of Oklahoma's starting D was injured, and UGA is emasculated offensively, so they rolled 2 teams they should've, so not really sure if those games mean more than the BAMA game, a team with far more comparable talent to Clemson

Defensively you are spot on. For most of the year we have been without one to two starters due to either injury or suspension. Our best linebacker has been gone since before the Ole Miss game. He returns for the Natty. That will be the first game that our defense will be full strength.

Offensively we have been consistently dominant all year with the exception of Auburn. But to be fair we did have a first half but fumble on about the 10. In reality that game should’ve been 30 to 13.

No because LSU hasn't played a complete football team yet. No body wanted Clemson in the semis and now that is still true. LSU is just happy to get to the finals and BTW, LSWho lurkers, home field means nothing to the real Tigers!

LSU O consistently did well except the AU game. Made mistakes, gained over 500 yds but just didn't score.

LSU had trouble finishing games, 3 games ended w/in a TD, but in each of those games the lead was bigger, the opponent scored a TD to get that close but didn't ever get the ball back. Each of those 3 teams were Top Ten at the time, 2 at their house.

LSU had multiple D starers out or limping, and one suspended, thru much of the schedule. In games vs OM and Ark were able to rest or hold them out, played Fr. The Fr gained valuable experience and the injured got well. The suspended starter practiced thruout and will be back.

Last 3 games were Tamu, UGA, OU. None presented a threat, each was held 200 or more yds below their season avg.

At this point the LSU D is excellent, no weaknesses.
