Is Auburn firing Chiz and now hiring Malzan foreshadowing?

That scenario that has now played out in Auburn has a lot of similarities to what many have suggested. Oils happen here.

I see what you did there.
Thing is, I'm for keeping Dabo; there is no way a school can fire a coach who wins 10 games. However, many thought it unbelievable that AU would fire a coach 2 years removed from a NC. All it took was a really bad season, notably without the OC that won you a NC and Chiz was gone - and who does Auburn bring in? They bring in the offensive wiz just a few years removed from the high school ranks.
Should Chad leave, I'm not sure anyone around here knows what would become of the offense and by extension the next season. I am not bringing up anything new and it is just ironic that the exact situation some have suggested here has now played out at Auburn.

as it did the state of the football program. The way Dabo runs the shop I don't see that happening and we'll not go 3 and 9 next year or any year either.

I was thinking the same thing when it was announced. Hopefully we wont have to see that here.

I really don't see Dabo surviving a 5th straight (record for them) loss to the coots. Bill Curry, too, got fired by Alabama after a 10-2 season because he couldn't beat Auburn.
