Interesting take on the Heisman race from Raleigh N&O

"W"
The ACC has produced only three Heisman winners, all of whom had last names that began with a “W” and played quarterback – Florida State’s Charlie Ward (1993), Chris Weinke (2000) and Jameis Winston (2013).
Overall, six of the Heisman winners have been quarterbacks with last names beginning with “W” – Andre Ware (1989, Houston), Danny Wuerffel (Florida, 1996) and Johnny White (Oklahoma, 2003) in addition to the three Seminoles.
The karma may be in Deshaun Watson’s corner…
