For me, I can't wait to see HJ play some football. I always felt like he was the better QB and was not given a fair shot, but I just had to trust our great coaches. I still hope HJ lights up the Big10.

From everything I heard and read he was slow to grasp the small details of the playbook and learning how to read defenses.
Coaches mentioned, and I think his spring game showed, that he was in line for a huge jump in his second season.
It wasn't KB that kept Hunter off the field. It was Trevor.
Without Trevor I think we are telling the story of Hunter Johnson taking over the team at some point last season.
I'm betting he mastered the Northwestern playbook and in his third year watching tape on college defenses will have a good handle on what people are throwing at him.
I expect a really good year from him.
