Were there mistakes, errors, missed coverages, interceptions, stupid penalties and missed point, yes absolutely. Were they intentional, absolutely NOT! Did those that called, created, missed said errors and mistakes win more games and gave more heart, effort and joy than we could have ever expected, H3LL YES! It is what it is but this is something to think about....in playing the best, winning statistically and reaping the unbelievable rush of respect and praise for a worthy effort we may have lost "the battle but may still win the war." With our season and exceptional play we might now be afforded the same benefit of the doubt as other playoff teams, in being able to overcome an early to mid season loss and still be considered for a playoff spot. That seems reasonable and may ultimately be as valuable if not more so for our inclusion in future playoff games. Just a thought! Go Tigers!
