When we played them following the Florida game we dominated them. Then they changed their schedule, presumably with some help from the SEC. The last 4 years they have had an open date, Troy, Citadel, and Wofford the week before our game. This basically gives them 2 weeks to prep for us. In theory it also allows them to rest players as well. Now, they've probably had the better team during this stretch, but the schedule is a big advantage. The Gators and Bulldogs are doing the same thing, scheduling an out of conference cupcake the week before the in-state rivalry. *Uga did play Kentucky the week before Tech in 2011. The Acc needs to get on board and match this or we could continue to struggle. Granted, it might not help, but it surely couldn't hurt.

play Wofford the week before than Nc State. It does give you an advantage especially in prep time. If it didn't then the SEC would never have changed the schedule in the 1st place.

WHY? Why would anyone rather play wofford. We rested Clowney so they didnt cut his knees all game. I dont forsee us ever playing a triple option team anymore. Just doesnt make sense. Would make sense for Clemson either unless it was b4 the GT game.

losing early is always more beneficial than losing late. and it gives you, what should be, an easy game a week before rivalry weekend

So what you're saying is that before, we beat them because they played Florida before us, but now we can't beat them because they have a bye/cupcake before us?
