A week before the All-In Cookout, I was told "fat chance" when posting about the possibility of landing TE Gilbert.
Did you hear Strelow say we are still in it for him this morning?
What's your thoughts?

Sometimes I miss the days when we were surprised to land a Top player. Checking my phone, expecting them to pick LSU, Bama, OHST, etc, and the message board is full of post about how they picked Clemson.

This would be one of those surprises. His attendance at the cookout gave me hope, but I tempered my expectations due to the national momentum. Time with Dabo, the commits, on the Clemson campus...there is always a chance.
