Syracuse beat VT 31-17 in mid-October and VT has a decent team this year. It looks like VT may be the Coastal division champ. The Tigers cannot take Syracuse lightly for their offense looks differently this season. Venables mentioned them in his post-game interview so they were already on his mind.

I don't see anyone that scares me, but we have to show up for sure. 'Cuse and USuC are .500, and Pitt and WF are 5-3. Far cry from the stretch we faced last season.

Of course we need to stay alert and on our toes and focused but anyone who thinks that the Cuse can give us a game,needs to lay off the bourbon or gin or whatever. Their D is one of the worst in the country.
